In the meantime ...
From 17 October until 28 October 2016 , IOB organized the second edition of the Short Training Initiative entitled ‘ Strengthening National Monitoring and Evaluation Capacities and Use ’. Out of many applications , 12 country teams were selected to participate in the initiative , namely Ecuador , Georgia , Ghana , India , Nepal , Palestine , Paraguay , Philippines , Senegal , South Africa , Sri Lanka and Tanzania . The Ecuadorian country team was even composed of two IOB alumnae Silvia Gonzales and Paola Suntaxi . The training focused on doing a SWOT analysis of both the national M & E system as well as a SWOT analysis of the Evaluation Society itself . Strategies to strengthen both were presented in a ( livestreamed ) presentation by the country team and during a poster reception .
