IOB Alumni Seminar in
Tanzania! 20 & 21 August 2017
IOB organizes alumni seminars both in Antwerp as well as in countries in the South. When an Antwerp-based seminar is organized( i. e. in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2016) a call for presentations is launched among all alumni and one IOB alumnus / a is selected and invited to come to Antwerp to present his / her work at IOB. In the South seminars, we do the inverse by inviting all alumni in the country( or within travelling distance) to come to the seminar and present their work. Previous alumni seminars were organized in Uganda and the Philippines.
In 2017, an IOB alumni seminar will be organized in Tanzania. The exact timing and venue will still be communicated in due course, but for now, make sure you keep Sunday 20 August( evening) and Monday 21 August free. This seminar will consist of a social event( reception & dinner) on Sunday evening and for those interested several workshop training sessions and a poster reception is being organized on Monday. Further information will follow.
