considered as a food heaven of the world! One must
experience to have hot and spicy ‘fish head curry’ in
Penang.

Most precious memory about my time @ IOB
Paris visit was one of the memorable events
during my studentship at IOB. I learned a lot
from the undeclared motto of IOB: ‘learn from the
interaction’.
Where do you work?
Project Manager at SNV/Netherlands Development
Organization, Cameroon. This project is an
opportunity to successfully apply market-based
solutions to poverty reduction in the center region
of Cameroon.
I am passionate about the entire IOB team (both
administrative and teaching staff) and particularly
Prof. Johan Bastiaensen and retired Prof. Marysse
and who I believe made the most significant impact
in my academic life in IOB.

I coordinate and give technical support in the
design and development of policies that aim
to improve access to decent jobs for the young
population in Uruguay.
Personally, I look forward to spending more time
with my family both at home and at interesting

Women’s Cup of Nations to be held in Cameroon.

Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral
researcher at the Center for Research on Women
and Gender (KANITA) in Universiti Sains Malaysia
(USM), Malaysia.
I am looking forward having some decisions about
my few publications in 2016. I will also be engaged
with a research project titled ‘rapport building using
digital platform among single mother entrepreneurs
in Penang, Malaysia.’

Idea - the strong foundation IOB provides to its
students to meet challenging situations of different
environments
If you ever pass through Montevideo you definitely
should go to the waterfront, to the old city and the
Cerro of Montevideo. By visiting these places you
will have three very different views of Montevideo:
the coast, which is the richest part with tall
buildings and parks, the old city, a historical place
where the city fortress once was; and the Cerro, a
labor neighborhood, which was settled during the
times of industrialization in the country. It also
ha
