ORIGINS
Although zurracapote, or zurra is typical of
Castilla, Navarra and Aragon, seems rather
originates from La Rioja. Typically take on
the popular festivals where it is made in
industrial quantities and everyone is served.
It is a cheerful and very sweet drink. It was
a tradition that men gather around the
pileup with zurra making circle, eating nuts
and talking about their things.
