No wind this morning, packed up and left in good time. Saw a family of three camels before Well 46
where I washed some split diesel out of my jeans. Then to well 47 and on to the spectacular view from
Mt Ford. On to Well 48 past the spectacular hills surrounding the Breaden Valley. Camp was set at
Breaden Pool and Graham and Laurice left for the next well. We walked to Godfrey Tank and Dinibarri
Rockholes before dinner and a game of cards.

Stats - 168 kms, 15.1lt/100kms, average 29km/hr.
Packed up and headed for Well 49 passing a hill called Chainman’s Hat, then onto visit Graham and
Laurice at their camp site. Then onto Well 50 where we met a group of 4 vehicles heading south. Well 51
which is the last well and it had a defunct wind mill spinning. Finally, a long drive over some corrugated
roads to Stretch Lagoon for a couple of nights.

Spent the day by Stretch Lagoon taking photos of the birds and taking short walks.

Stats - 12.7lt/100km, 309 km, average speed 54 km/hr
Drove to Billiluna, fuelled up, onto Wolfe Creek Crater where the trip leader did a 180 and decided that
this was not a place to spend two days, so after a quick walk it was off to Billiluna for some more fuel
and down the Tanami Road where we camped at the WA/NT border.

Drove down the Tanami to Yuendumu to fill up with fuel and then on to Tilmouth Well for the night, a
nice camping spot.

Drove to Alice Springs and checked into the Jump Inn, a pleasant comfortable hostel, for three nights.
Afternoon at the market and dinner at Bojangles with Mark and Humie, Rods friends.

Shopping for hats and a new air bed.

We had the snoring machine fixed at Alice Springs Hospital, vibrations get to everything. Then to the
Botanical Garden and the Telegraph Station. Watched the live music in the Jump Inn in the evening.

Drove to the East McDonalds via Emily Gap, Jessie Gap, Chain of Ponds and the camped at Trephina

Drove to Ruby Gap and walked up the Glen Annie Gorge but did not make Mr Fox's grave.
