LOCATION/DESCRIPTION: We will base camp at Eaglevale on the
Wannagatta river near Dargo. I have been running trips to this area for a
few years and have a great camp spot for this trip. From here we will do
some day trips on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will have the option
to stay back and relax at camp or do the day trips. I plan on taking one of
the day trips into the Wannagatta valley and the other up to the trig point
on Blue Rag. This will be a bush camping weekend. It will be a good
opportunity for members that are new to bush camping to try out their
equipment and use it as a shake down trip. Its a good opportunity for
anyone that has not been bush camping before to try it out and learn form
the experience. I would be happy to help you plan for the trip, if needed.
We will have plenty of time to relax by the river and the campfire at night. I
will bring my Pizza oven for a pizza night too. This has always been a
highlight of these trips.
