combustion wood heaters and a large open fire in the main building. The
chalet also has multiple heated showers and toilets. All fire wood, LPG and
diesel powered 240V generator is supplied. All you need to bring is food,
drink, clothing and sleeping bags/bedding/pillows – everything else is
there. This is a long weekend trip suitable for both new and experienced
members. This trip is ideal for members just wishing to relax at the base
camp without having to set up camp and to get some experience
4WDriving in the High Country. The day trips will travel through the High
Country taking in some great scenery on tracks that have just been
re-opened after the winter closures. Preference will be given to newer club
members but all are welcome. This is a very kid friendly trip. Don’t forget
to bring warm clothes and a camera or 2.
