A visit next day to Kimba with it’s painted silos then on to Iron Knob, a sad and
disappointing town before stopping for the night at “Nuttbush Camp” at Pandurra
Station. On arrival the camp was dry, dusty and hot with very little shade and did not
look very appealing but once inside the gate we realised what an oasis this was. For
the next hour we relaxed in the swimming pool before joining the managers for
Happy Hour and an informative tour of the shearing shed.
Our last night’s stop was at Mannum Caravan Park, again a great spot on the Murray
River with great views and unfortunately vicious mozzies at dusk!
