Presentation 1: John Lay - Farina Video:
John explained where Farina is, what it is and what the club’s involvement is. Then ran a video
presentation that highlighted the town as it goes through a restoration. Then asked a couple of questions
and detailed the size of the town which accommodated some 600 souls in its heyday. Also attended the
Maree Camel Cup which was more than just camels and thus was highlighted by another video.
Presentation 2: Derek Bardsley - Cruiserkhana:
Annie and Derek provided a rundown of the upcoming TLC Cruiserkhana run at Yarck. Annie advised
that Derek won two events last year in her Prado which TLC insisted was a Pajero. Prizes are awarded for
categories as well as the naming on the cup for the winners. Over the last three years the Pajero Club won
twice. All about precision, not grunt. Reference can be made to the rules to ascertain if you want to be
involved. Now being run in Spring at the end of October rather than February. New committee running
the event and lack the experience and that are looking for competitors. A video presentation was run.
