M EET I NG M I NU TES MINUTES OF THE PAJERO 4WD CLUB GENERAL MEETING AT GWBC WEDNESDAY 20th September 2017 Opened: 7.30pm President: Stuart Gay Welcomed members and visitors asking visitors to stand. Thanked the kitchen volunteers. Detailed magazine via slide presentation. Minutes of the Previous Meeting: Accepted by: Peter Clark. Seconded by: Ian Clarke Presentation 1: John Lay - Farina Video: John explained where Farina is, what it is and what the club’s involvement is. Then ran a video presentation that highlighted the town as it goes through a restoration. Then asked a couple of questions and detailed the size of the town which accommodated some 600 souls in its heyday. Also attended the Maree Camel Cup which was more than just camels and thus was highlighted by another video. Presentation 2: Derek Bardsley - Cruiserkhana: Annie and Derek provided a rundown of the upcoming TLC Cruiserkhana run at Yarck. Annie advised that Derek won two events last year in her Prado which TLC insisted was a Pajero. Prizes are awarded for categories as well as the naming on the cup for the winners. Over the last three years the Pajero Club won twice. All about precision, not grunt. Reference can be made to the rules to ascertain if you want to be involved. Now being run in Spring at the end of October rather than February. New committee running the event and lack the experience and that are looking for competitors. A video presentation was run.
