TRIP REPORT
We finally arrived home just after 18:00 having covered some 6,600 km for the round trip.
For this particular trip, many thanks go to Simon, Liz, Graham and Marie for being such great
travelling companions. Great banter, great meals and always helping. And Marie, it’s the other
RIGHT !
We achieved the Triple Crown (Oodnadatta, Birdsville and Strzelecki Tracks) and added the jewels
(Poeppel, Haddon and Cameron’s Corners). The Garraways added a couple more jewels and
managed to get to MacCabe’s corner (Simon from the water side, Liz from the land) and in doing so
achieved all 5 corners, having already done the Surveyor General’s before the start of the Simpson
trip. Well done indeed.
