Thursday 11th More 4WD'ing in the Thompson Dam area over towards Walhalla. This area is legendary for the historical land marks highlighting the hardship of the early logging pioneers - Webbers Point (1862 to 1865) being noted for it's Dancing Saloons and women of ill repute and Morning Star mining relics and Walhalla gold mine being just a few. Unfortunately due to our timing, some track closures were still in place restricting us from driving some iconic tracks. E.G. - Deep Creek 1 to 5!!
