When you are out on the Tracks and you either need to access your rear drawer system to help you fix a tyre or something else you can try this simple fix.

Then again it may be a lunch stop or maybe at night preparing the evening meal and you have to access your rear drawers and the darned thing just won't stay open or its open too far. It's just a pain in the back.

So i've devised a very simple plan of attack to help all 4wd people.

Pic no.1 shows what looks like 2 bolt heads screwed into a metal piece. This shows where to store the bolts when not in use. They won't pop out when travelling and are always where you can easily access.

Pic no.2 shows 1 of the bolts pulled out of its hole.

Pic no.3 shows a bolt inserted into a hole directly over where the metal drawer runner runs on its track. Position the drawer fully open. Drill the hole so it drills into the top drawer runner.

Do the same with the drawer half open making sure the bit does not damage anything else.

Pic no.4 shows the drawer fully open.

Now when you are on a tricky slope and you need to access your rear drawers you can LOCK them in any position fully or partly closed. Off course you can drill more holes as you see fit.

I always like to see what others have done in their Truck to help their needs, and i reckon most in the Club will try this great idea.
