M EET ING MI NU TES MINUTES OF THE PAJERO 4WD CLUB GENERAL MEETING HELD AT GWBC WED 19th April 2017 Minutes of the Pajero 4WD Club of Victoria General Meeting Held at GWBC 19 April 2017 Open 7:30pm President Ralph Longley opened meeting - Welcomed members and guests to an “action packed” night. - Visitors given round of applause as welcome. - New members welcomed - Exits and location of facilities was then pointed out. Magazine update – The quality is still being worked on for improvement by new editors. Magazine content was then summarized. Trash and treasure is outside for those looking for some bargains. The Pajero Club committee donated $500 to the Good Friday Appeal on behalf of the members and another $500 to be donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Next month, members requested to bring donations for the Red Shield Appeal. Membership fees have been set at $115 for 2017/2018 and can be paid from now. Person of The Year (POTY) details are displayed and some points summarised. Clubman Award – Presented to Gordon Wood and Robyn Carbery for their support and efforts in the kitchen when other kitchen leads are away and on going every week. Pajero Challenge 2017 – An overview was presented on screen and the sponsors acknowledged. Aussie disposals $100 gift voucher, presented by Lael to Ralph for his help in the challenge coordination. Phil Viney award presented to Paul Daly on behalf of Cameron Scott and Dennis Back Overall winner of challenge acknowledged - Peter and Libby Butcher Presentation 1: Russell Sturzaker – Portland Victoria trip. March 2017 Presentation 2: Graham Halliburton introduced David Tullock – Horse drawn wagons and related history. The Birdsville track 60 odd years ago. Training course certificates are now handed out on the day rather than at the next meeting. Members who received certificates were announced. Editorial: Toni Hunter-Miller.
