PRESIDENT’S REPORT
PRESIDENT’S REPORT MAY 2017
There goes April
- and here is May - the months are flying by.
April certainly was a full on month with, not just the Easter period, but also the Anzac weekend
that many members took advantage of. Don't forget to send your trip reports to the [email protected].
Also - PHOTOS - Lots Of PHOTOS to enhance the input of the monthly, soon to be Bi-Monthly Exceed.
What a great April meeting with two very interesting talks from Russell Sturzaker on the club Portland Sand Trip. Additionally,
David Tulloch's informative talk on Horse Drawn Vehicles and travelling the Birdsville Track in 1954. Both talks were most
entertaining with some very entertaining scenes.
Thank you to Graham Halliburton for organising David Tulloch as our guest speaker on the night.
It really was great to see, not just new club members, but to catch up with older members that have not been able to attend
meetings on a regular basis.
Don't forget - if you are away on a Pajero Club Trip - or enjoying a relaxing holiday, send a photo to [email protected].
au so we can put your apology on the big screen for all to see. It's a popular segment enjoyed by all.
Congratulations to Robyn Carbery & Gordon Wood on their 'Clubman Awards' for their dedicated time given to the Pajero
Club in maintaining the kitchen and BBQ each meeting. Their support is very much appreciated by all members attending
the meeting. There is always assistance needed in the kitchen each meeting. Not just in the preparation, but the serving and
cleaning up after supper. Please don't hesitate to head on down and let Lael or Robyn know that you can assist in the kitchen.
POTY ! - Person Of The Year Award
We are getting to the pointy end of the 2016-2017 POTY Awards. Remember, it's not just the overall winner that is rewarded.
All members that have gained a minimum of 500 points through working in the kitchen, running or being part of a trip, event or
show have the opportunity to win 1 of may great vouchers. The POTY Incentive will be tallied on the 30th June, so there is still
time to support the Pajero Club and gain extra POTY Points.

FEED BACK - - - -
One last but very important observation from the committee to all members. Over the course of the year we (The Committee)
receive some great suggestions and input. All input provided by members through the committee are taken up and discussed
and actioned at the monthly committee meetings. Some points can be actioned on the night, other points may require further
research prior to any action being taken.
The committee does appreciate all comment received, and it is especially encouraging when we receive positive feedback.
Safe travels – look forward to seeing you all at the next Pajero Club general meeting.
