Hi Colin & Toni,
I briefly mentioned a magazine idea to you last night. That was to run a competition for club members to submit
unique and interesting photos (images) that include the Pajero Club logo (or maybe their membership card). It
maybe the club sticker on their vehicle with a recognisable landmark (Uluru, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Wave Rock) in
the background. Or it could be a celebrity wearing the club jacket or something. Just an idea to get people thinking
about the club and capturing some images in a creative way. The competition could lead to some POTY points for
best image each edition or of the year perhaps?
On the subject of POTY points, Colleen was suggesting it would be good to see a schedule published of what the
point allocations are for the various club activities (eg # points for running a trip, # points for submitting a trip report
etc.).
Hope these suggestions are useful. We love the magazine and so glad to see Frank found new owners for it. Keep up
the great work.

Your suggestion of running a photo comp was discussed at the committee meeting and there was a resounding vote of
support for the idea.
So here are the details of the
2017 Pajero Club Photo Competition:
The competition will run between June 2017 to November 2017.
•
Each entry will be required to have a Pajero club symbol somewhere in the photo ( no
photo-shopping allowed).
•
The monthly winner will be chosen by the editors and all entries will be published in the
magazine.
•
The monthly winner will receive 200 POTY points.
•
All entries will be in the running for the major prizes of:
o
1st prize $150 Aussie Disposal Voucher
o
2nd prize $100 Aussie Disposal Voucher
o
3rd prize $50 Aussie Disposal Voucher
•
The major prize winners will be selected by the Pajero Club
Committee during the November 2017 Committee meeting.
•
Winners will be announced during the Christmas General
Meeting.
