The Triton really did pull in the crowd, keeping Colin
extremely busy showing off all the special features
on the Premium model.
The Triton along with Peter's well rigged out Jeep
and my Pajero complimented the philosophy of the
Pajero Club, confirming - -
'You don't have to drive a Pajero to be in the Pajero
Club'
Background -
Due to Alan Sellars pending hip operation, Alan was
not in a position to physically setup the event, thus
his great input was liaising with LROC, confirming
the site and signed off.
And - what an amazing site Alan had organised.
With room to spare after 3 vehicles and the 6m x 3m
marquee where positioned. (We could have put
another 2 cars on the site!)
Prior to the event and through Mitsubishi's head
office, I was able to secure a new model Triton GLS
'Premium' for the display, kindly provided by
Warragul Mitsubishi.
The set up on the Saturday went to plan. Darren and
Kerry arrived towing the Pajero events trailer to our
site, then all hands on deck making light work of
marquee erection and set up of the internal display.
As usual, LROC (Land Rovers Owners Club of
Victoria) was well organised and did a very
professional job assisting all participants additionally
providing the evening BBQ 'Feast'. Saturday
evening is a very social time catching up with fellow
club members from FWD Vic and other clubs. Then
- lights out - into the swag to get a good nights sleep
prior to the main event.
Sunday - WOW! within minutes of the gate opening
we had our first new member sign up. This then set
the scene for a very successful show through a total
