PAJERO CLUB GENERAL MEETING March 20, 2019
Meeting Opened by President Neil Phillips: 7:30pm
Welcomed members and explained the meeting format.
Talk: Russel Chatfield to talk about the Pajero Challenge,
Quick update: The Pajero challenge is a big part of the club, and we had the 2019 challenge
happen in February.. We will be discussing the change of the club rules on another night. The
Pajero AGM will be coming up on the 21 st of august. The archiving of the club documents has
been going well. The POTY points are still going, Ralph Longley will be in charge of it.

Apologies: the apologies were shown at the meeting and listed in the members sign in.
President:
• Review of current committee positions was shown to the club, we would like feed
back from members and potential alternative ideas.
• Detailed the people to talk about IT issues and who to talk to during the break to find
any members.
• Neil showed the members a picture of a fire that was illegal
• There has been a lot of spikes found in the Toolangi region that have been damaging
tyres.
• We are looking at adjusting the budget so that we leave a year balanced.
• Temporary membership for passengers is now $15 and covers as many trips as the
passenger likes in a financial year.
The AGM is coming up very soon, we are looking for people to volunteer for positions that
may be available with a lot of members standing down.
Both the President and Vice president will be away for the April meeting, Barry will be
running the meeting in there stead.
Membership: Introduced new members to the club, and gave out there badges and
welcome envelopes, anyone that wasn’t able to attend the meeting to collect there’s will
have there’s sent out in the mail.
Garry and Beverly Smith, Matt Barnard and Craig & Kellie Platt were awarded their 10 year
badges.
Barry Ellis and Wendy Smith were awarded their 30 years badges.
There is a new temporary membership form and it will be made available on TeamApp soon,
we will also be looking into making an online form to make it easier for the administration
and members to apply.
Membership renewal is coming up for the 2019-2020 year, early renewals will be available
next meeting, and notices will be going out in May.
Virginia is looking for someone, or two people to look after the membership position for the
renewal period.
Trip & Social: Listed the trips run in the last month, and detailed new trips coming up this
year.
