EXCEED March/April 2018 Vol 35 No:2 | Page 63

Once we got out on the sand dunes we spent our time just going over one or two rules then had some fun. After that was done we went to the beach and had a quick dip in the ocean before we headed back to go have lunch. After we had lunch a couple of people went out to get some fire wood whilst my sister and I stayed back watching the purge election year. Once we got back we set out back to the beach to have a swim and at that point the water was really cold and I was foolish to swim in just some shorts. After that happened we all set out to have some fun on the dunes. Then once that was done all the kids and two adults set out to walk to the bowl.

On Sunday we went out in groups to do a treasure hunt. At the start we couldn’t find anything because of my poor navigating skills. So we then went to do the figure of eight, the problem is the jeep that peter owns, a 2017 Mitsubishi challenger and a lot of Toyota land cruiser 200 series tore the whole track up. So with that happening we took off and we were about to go around the first circle we ended up sliding straight into the ditch that a 200 series made which got our car stuck. The car had sand up to the body lifting the wheels of the ground making the 2000 Mitsubishi Pajero needing to be recovered.

The next day we spent our time packing up and getting ready to go home. We loved every moment of being there and we will hope we can go again soon.
