LOCATION/DESCRIPTION:
I am looking for expressions of interest for a club trip to the USA. This will not be a 4WD
trip. It will be a road trip across the USA. I have not decided if we will cover the East or West of the country. I will decide
the specific area with the people that register for the trip. The exact route for the trip will be defined by mid 2018.
This will be not be a camping trip since most of you will not have the required gear in the US. Therefore, we will use motels
and caravan parks, depending on the route we take. Most meals will be at restaurants too. So this needs to be considered
in the cost of the trip. I would anticipate the total cost for 3 weeks to be around AUS $10,000 to $12,000 per couple
including airfares. This is a guesstimate only.
Economy class airfares to the US will range between $1,500 to $2,000 per person. I can get a group rate from United
Airlines, if we have more than 10 people booked on the trip.
Members would need to rent cars or campers, as needed.
