Presentation: Carac - Ashley James. - Chris Teech - Ryan Perry

Chris introduced himself as the store manager and commenced by showing a short video. Opened in 1967. Do major caravan repairs, battery systems, solar etc. Hot water system anode should be changed every 12 months. Last a bit longer in Vic but the northern States can be every three months. Can be up to $1.3k to remove and replace. Can last longer if pulled out and cleaned. On special tonight for $25 and good to carry a spare. Flushing held as well. Led acid batteries give off an explosive gas and sit right next to power points etc that can cause it to go bang. Led Crystal batteries better than AGM and a better option than lithium as they can cost up to $7.5k to retrofit. 100ah cost say $500+ and can be run to flat. Can cycle many many times and will work at temperatures from -40 to +60. Quick charge also. There is a unit that can fit to you battery and Bluetooth to your phone and you can check the charge at any time. Two types of solar panels, cheap and those that work. Cheap ones can use a charge if left connected overnight. Most caravans solar panels are wired parallel. They need air space as well. A service with us is a full check front to back. Everything pulled apart.
