PRESIDENT’S REPORT

Hi to all Pajero Club members and others who may read this magazine. Welcome to our March/April edition of the Exceed magazine.
We have just had our bi-annual Muster at Dargo. From the feedback that I received, and having been there myself, it was another very successful Muster. I would like to thank Ed Reddick and all his helpers for organising this for us. The camping shops should be making money this week with everyone replacing their bent pegs.
The Pajero Challenge for 2018 is very close now. I hope that most of you are supporting this in some way as either a competitor or a helper.
Our membership fees for the coming financial year have been voted on by the committee. After reviewing our current financial situation we decided that the fees for the majority of club members will remain unchanged from the current year but we did introduce a discount scheme for the longer serving members. 10 year members will receive a 10% discount, 20 year members will receive a 20% discount and 30 year members will receive a 30% discount. These members have already put a lot into the club financially and with their time as well. Although it is expected that this scheme will be ongoing, as per any committee decision, it may be rescinded by a future committee.
Our AGM for this year will be held in August rather than July as per recent years. It is time to start thinking about your availability and level of commitment to the club for the next year. Many existing committee members will not be able to carry on into 2018/2019 and we will therefore need new members to come on board. All positions are open at the AGM so you can nominate for any position. We will advise of specific requirements as the AGM approaches. If a full committee is appointed and in place at all times it makes things run much smoother for everyone. Check TeamApp Documents for committee positions and descriptions.
I still get the occasional member reporting that they are not getting TeamApp emails. If you are not getting emails, first check your junk mail, then log into TeamApp and check the following: https://www.teamapp.com/unsubscribe You should see your registered email address, the Unsubscribed box should be blank and the checkbox should not be ticked.
