I had a few names shuffling around but the trip stayed full. I sent out the final information regarding the accommodation. The weather looked like it was going to be fine, it had snowed the weekend before down to 800 meters so I was hoping that there may still be some snow up at the higher levels, we will just have to wait and see. We all met at the BP road house on the Princes highway Office, no one got lost this time finding the meeting place. We all headed off some quicker than others I ended up in the middle of the group and the arrangement was too meet at the turn off at Traralgon. It worked out well as the traffic was flowing great, having re grouped we headed off to Licola for morning tea. Arriving at Licola there was already a long que at the Diesel pump. We all topped up with fuel, had a coffee from the new coffee machine, an improvement on what we used to get. (New owners doing a good job) Left by about 10-45 and headed up the mountain, it was a beautiful morning clear sky’s so we stopped at the dirt road and aired down and then headed up to Bensons look out, great views, as they have cut all the trees that were in the way of the view. Perfect day for taking photos. 27© Vol 34 No. 5 - June-July 2017
