Where do I begin?
The last 2 years seemed to have flown by with so much that has happened in that time.
First off and most importantly, I would like to sincerely thank all committee members over the last 2 years for the
great support given to me in my role of President, and also given to their fellow members. There have also been many
members who have unassumingly been supporting the club in the background. A big thank you to those members
assisting at meetings, lobbying for the Pajero Club at 4x4 Shows and members who continuously run or participate
in trips.
I would sincerely like to welcome all the new members who have joined the Pajero Family over the last year. I trust
you will gain much enjoyment and fellowship while participating in the many activities the Pajero Club has to offer.
Reme mber, you will only get out of the club what you put in – so, get involved at meetings by assisting in the kitchen
or helping out at the front desk. Participate in trips and help out at 4x4 Shows such as Wandin or the 4x4 Camping
Show at the Melbourne Showgrounds. By being involved gains you valuable P.O.T.Y .(Person Of The Year Award)
reward points. Points = tickets in the very special prize draw each July.
As you will read in my AGM President’s report, there have been many changes made over the last 2 years which I
believe have made for a stronger club constitution, and for the benefit of the incoming committees going forward.
Please take the time to read all committee reports, this really does showcase the hard work put in by all committee
members.
As this is the first Bi-Monthly Exceed, we the committee have been working hard to provide additional support to
our sponsors who financially support the club through advertising in the Exceed magazine. You will see increased
promotion for our sponsors through Facebook and Team App additional to the Exceed. You may have noticed at
meetings that I promote a ‘Sponsor Of The Month’ on the big screen. Our welcome screens also include the Aussie
Disposals, Engel and Narva logos as major sponsors, with an individual screen page dedicated to Mitsubishi for their
great ongoing support.
As this is my last President’s report, I can assure you all I have enjoyed my time as Club President. For me this has
been a labour of love, also rewarding but challenging at times. I would like to assure all members that I will continue
my support to you all and the committee as ‘Immediate Past President’ .
Pam and I are now looking forward to having some special time together, touring and discovering new frontiers
where – perhaps, no one has been before.
