TRIP REPORTS
Tuesday July 9th
Yet another brilliant sunrise we packed up and
proceeded north via Neppabunna, another
area of indigenous interest and tours. We
then proceeded to Ballanoona, an old cattle
and sheep station that is now head quarters
to the Gammon Ranges National Park. A
break was taken to walk around the old
shearing shed and other structures. The
group then drove out to Lake Frome crossing
the newly updated dog fence, then stopping
on the shores of the Lake for lunch and a
walk. On the return trip we stopped at some
interesting sand formations.
Returning to Ballanoona we headed east for
80 kilometres for a bush camp at Balacoranna
Creek.
