TRIP REPORTS
Following lunch, we headed back through No.5
track towards Royston Road and visited the
Trestle Bridge on Rubicon River Road. Ollie and
Sebastian went back through No.5 Track to
help a young lad who was stuck just past
Whiskey Creek Hut. They eventually joined us
at the Trestle Bridge.
From there we made our way towards Morris
Lookout via Herbs Track. Unfortunately, the
track was closed early due to seasonal
closures. The campgrounds close by were
packed. As it was close to 4:00pm at the point,
a few of the participants decided to call it a
day. We all aired up and a few us headed to
Snobs Creek Falls via the bitumen, led by Terry.
It was one of the most beautiful falls and with
a view of the sunset from the platform. We
said our goodbyes to each other and made a
beeline for our nests as it was getting a little
too cold.
