Inside the vehicle:
I removed the rear seats to make more room for a draw. I decided to get a Drifta single sided drawer with a pull out table, the table doubles as a slid out bench. i also installed 4 tie down points so i can safely tie down objects.
One of my favorite modifications to the vehicle is the tap above the drawer, i find i use it at least once a week. before i had the pump i found it too much hassle to get water out of the tank.
Other:
On the roof i have a Rhinorack pioneer flat tray with tiedown points and shovel holder. after having standard roof rails the upgrade to a flat tray has been well worth it. I mount 4x Tred Pro recovery tracks on the roof when i go off road as well as a long handle shovel.
Underneath the vehicle i have a 30L stainless steel water tank which is mounted between the tow bar and sub fuel tank. This tank supplies the tap mentioned previously.
Things to watch out for in your vehicle:
Injectors, make sure the injectors are DENSO DLC and get them checked by a specialist after 120,000km
Don't chip the engine, there have been many reports of piston failures. Almost all vehicles with the failures have been running performance enhancing chips.
Three favorite modifications?
The Tap with pump would be my favorite, next would be the rear drawer and third would be the flat tray on the roof.
