Friends of the Wonnangatta have initiated a commemoration of the Wonnangatta murders which took place 100 years ago to be held over the March Labour Day weekend.
Parks Victoria, the Mountain Cattleman’s Association, FWDV, VHCHA and other groups are supporting this event which will include historic walks and talks, demonstration events from the cattleman’s association, static displays and a happy hour at the homestead site.
FWDV have the Macalister Social 4X4 Club conducting a Camp Host over the weekend at the site but certainly encourage any other clubs and or their members to come along and join in.
