PRESIDENT’S REPORT
September 2017
It’s spring, unless you are someone who likes the snow, I expect we are all looking forward to the weather
warming up a little.
Since the AGM, the following committee roles have been appointed: Editor: Colin Miller, Membership
Secretary: Trudi Godkin, Treasurer: Kenton Lillicrap. Our Venue Officer role has not yet been filled. We need
this role filled so have a think if you are the person who could do it. It is not a hard role to help keep the club
running.
The general meeting is to be held on Wednesday 20th September.
The National 4x4 show was quite successful with the receipt of 12 new member applications during the show.
Thanks to Derek and all those that helped out over the weekend.
For those that have participated in any club activity since the AGM, your Person of The Year (POTY) points
will be accumulating. For the newer members, there are points allocated for almost anything you do towards
the club, whether that is running or participating in trips, helping at the show, helping at the meetings, being
a committee member, participating in training, submitting a trip report or other article for publication to the
Editor or several other things. Last year we had a prize draw for those achieving over 500 points for the year.
This is being considered and more details are to come so start accumulating to be in the draw. Refer to ByLaw
#4 in TeamApp for details: https://pajeroclub.teamapp.com/documents/159348-club-bylaws
Refer to later in this magazine for the minutes of the last general meeting, other committee reports and
trip reports. Take advantage of the offerings from the Driver Training Unit. These are a dedicated group of
qualified trainers that give up their time to help us all.
If you haven’t yet enrolled for the 2018 Muster, plan ahead and don’t miss out. Details are in this
magazine and in TeamApp where you can download a registration form: https://pajeroclub.teamapp.com/

We have a few long trips happening this month. Day trips are always required. Get out there, take advantage
of our Aussie bushlands and enjoy yourselves.
