Day 6 : We travelled to Mt Noorat and walked up to the rim and then around the rim of this volcano . The crater of this volcano was extremely steep . It was so steep I doubt I could have walk up or down it without being on hands and feet . You must see this volcano cone for yourself .. We then toured a few more dry wall sites before heading to Hopkins Falls . The afternoon was spent at Tower Hill ( between Warrnambool and Port Fairy ). Tower Hill is special – it ’ s a massive lake crater that contains smaller volcano cones . We enjoyed the walking tracks spotting kolas , wallabies and emus . Then back to camp for 5 o ’ clock drinks before heading to the Pub for dinner . ( My confession : I put on 1.5 kilos during the week thanks to the nightly 5 o ’ clock drinks and nibbles – despite the walking we did ).
