Trip Summary Below is an excellent summary of the trip , written by Lyndon Bell (# 1741 )
“ Starting out early on the first Bell Family four-wheeling event in a very long time initially due to the bushfires and then rolling COVID lockdowns etc , and incentivised by a promise of a second-breakfast at the Lancefield Bakery and tasty snacks on the road ( thanks Mum , Sandra ), the Bell children tagged along with Dad ( Lyndon ) on Daniel ’ s Cobaw Forest tour on a pleasant , warm early January .
An excellent day out was had , and was beneficial for the children ( 13 and 10 ), to start to re-expand their world after too long being confined to local / at home .
A good mixture of tracks was organised by Dan , with thanks , which provided the convoy with some good challenges , with some optional advanced technical driving for a couple of us with dual locked vehicles , which was very much appreciated - cheers Dan .
Overall a memorable day out in Cobaw and everyone seemed really pleased to have been able to interact with other club members after so long .”
