I ’ m sure as you progress through the increasingly advanced training courses that your confidence and driving capability will increase too . The December Monthly Members meeting will be held at the Glen Waverley Bowls Club with no cap on the number of people that can attend . The club will still be required to register your attendance via our Wild Apricot website . I ’ m hoping this registration requirement will end when as a community , we achieve a 95 % fully vaccinated status .
The December meeting will see also the presentation of the prestigious Ironbark Award . This award is given to one Member each year , determined by a sub-committee assessing how Members have participated in the Club over a period of many years . We will also be announcing the winner of the Narva LED Lights raffle .
It ’ s great to see trips running again , albeit with QR Code registrations , however when I look back on where the pandemic started nearly two years ago , I ’ m grateful for the simple freedoms our great country affords us to overcome such challenges and come out stronger at the end .
