MEMBER TRIP REPORT
This was the first trip to use the QR code and it went smoothly – so well done to those who organised it . Thanks to my travel buddies on this trip for making it a success – I thoroughly enjoyed every moment . Cheers Rod Chapple ( TL ) # 1814 Participant Observations :
Pete and Deb joined Pajero club February 2020 and after several failed attempts at attending any overnight getaways with the club due to Covid lockdowns we were fortunate to experience Cann River camping for three nights over Melbourne Cup long weekend . We had the wonderful experience of our trip leader Rod Chapple together with two other senior participants that joined another newbie couple with us in a total of five cars . The sunny weather , scenery of beaches , rivers , variety of wildlife and eating venues provided much stories to share during the days and evenings . We were spoiled with live music around the campfire from Martin , Veronica and Pete and much sharing of 4WD trips for us to listen and learn from Rod , Alan and Graham . We would recommend the Cann River campground for a short getaway with picturesque setting , clean facilities and walking distance to shops and pub . With several walking tracks in the area and opportunities to find secluded swimming holes we would look forward to returning again .
Thanks Rod for organising this trip and ordering the wonderful weather . It was a well planned schedule with agenda and program , also allowing for relaxation and flexibility to meet Individual needs .

We had a wonderful camping trip at Cann River . We learnt a lot about the area and saw beautiful scenery of native bush recovering from recent fires and the beach . We felt totally refreshed afterwards .
