MEMBER TRIP REPORT
Craig ’ s Hut
Number 3 Hut
It was then time to set off back in the direction of camp , visiting Number 3 hut along the way which had been erected in 2009 with calibration between one of the local Nordic ski groups and horse-riding teams . This was a much newer hut but still available to all if the need arose requiring shelter within the High Country .
We then came down no . 3 track and ended up back on Buttercup Road . Some people went straight back to camp with Helen whilst others went into Mansfield for various reasons .
A huge thank you and congratulations to Helen for her first time as trip leader , you did a fantastic job and I ’ m sure that you also appreciated some of the long term members also enjoying their trip with one car advising that you had taken them on a track that they had never been on before ( the Western track ) which was really unusual for them as they know the area so well .
As one of the newer members to the club I would like to thank all of the Muster trip leaders for your time and dedication and also a huge thank you to Ed who organized the weekend . We feel so lucky to have found such a lovely club to explore the great outdoors 4wding with .
