One of many red gums arranged in the last few weeks ready for blocking for firewood . Many similar trees were brought down by a major storm before the 2020 chain saw course .
The chain saw course of 2020 was a mixture of demonstration and then practice on many different logs ., and it was the motivator for some follow-up practise .
And even an opportunity to combine skill enhancement with a little fun .
