Terry introduced Robert Pepper as our guest speaker for the evening . Robert is a motoring journalist and a previous member of our club .
Robert spoke on the topic of roof racks and 4wdriving . It was most informative , with quite a few questions asked .
Terry thanked Robert for coming at such short notice due to the lockdown . Trip and Social :
Ed Reddick reported on the trips which have been run since November 2020 up to February 2021 -13 in all .
There are 5 trips already in the calendar for 2021 . Still need more Pajero Club Muster 2021 Ed Advised that the response has been great and only a couple of vacancies are left . Bookings via Wild Apricot . New Trip Leaders needed DTU : Russell Chatfield Dates for the 2021 DTU Calendar have now been posted on Wild Apricot .
The first theory night for the year was conducted , but the practical at The Black Spur Hotel had to be cancelled due to the lockdown . This has now been moved to the 27 th February , it will be run in conjunction with the 25 th theory night and the 28 th practical day .
A full list of courses has been emailed to all members . Hopefully 4WDVic will be conducting a First Aid course in May . Editor ’ s Report : Nas Foscarini
A big thank you to members who contributed reports and photos from recent events to the latest issue of the magazine .
Editing software problems contributed to the delay in getting the magazine out for Jan / Feb .
Nas has advised that he will not be continuing in his role as editor after the AGM . Expressions of interest are welcome as Nas would like to make sure the next Editor gets plenty of training and support .
