Note: There is a compromise – to lift the drawers up, the second-row seats must be folded forward. Therefore, I
only store rarely used items in the sub-floor space. This is a compromise I’m happy to make to keep the valuable sub-
floor storage.
I’ve been asked about a fridge fitting. I don’t have one, though I have a 50 lite esky that just touches the roof of the
car when the drawers are up. I expect a ~40 lite fridge to be a similar size to my esky. A 60-litre fridge would likely
touch the roof too, but I expect it would be after the point at which the gas struts are supporting the weight of the
drawers.
