S HOW U S Y OUR P AJ comes with the drawers that usually bolt the drawers to the floor. To stop lateral movement, I put a strong right- angle bracket attached to the floor on each side of the drawers, next to the pad bolts. ” Pad bolt & carabiner to stop bouncing & undoing. Strong right-angle bracket butts up against the side of the drawers stopping lateral movement” The base of the gas struts are connected to a right-angle bracket that I kept from a sturdy old gate. I did this because the angle of the floor is a bit awkward and I wanted something flat to attach the strut to. The top of the gas struts are connected to the side of the drawers, reinforced with a strip of right-angle metal bracket. They are secured with bolts & nyloc nuts. I ran out of nyloc nuts so just doubled up the nuts to secure the rest. ” Right-angle gate bracket @ bottom of the picture” So – that’s it – installed and working well.
