comes with the drawers that usually bolt the
drawers to the floor.
To stop lateral movement, I put a strong right-
angle bracket attached to the floor on each
side of the drawers, next to the pad bolts.

The base of the gas struts are connected to a
right-angle bracket that I kept from a sturdy old
gate. I did this because the angle of the floor is
a bit awkward and I wanted something flat to
attach the strut to.
The top of the gas struts are connected to the
side of the drawers, reinforced with a strip of
right-angle metal bracket. They are secured
with bolts & nyloc nuts. I ran out of nyloc nuts
so just doubled up the nuts to secure the rest.

So – that’s it – installed and working well.
