These changes have been introduced to make it easier for members to bring family and friends along on club trips.
The Club will now cover the insurance cost for Category 1 Temporary Members; however, it is not intended to be
used as a membership substitute. We ask that members exercise this benefit in the spirit it is offered. The cost to
the Club will be monitored by the Committee to ensure it is manageable.
Members are also asked to respect our Trip and Club organisers by, wherever possible, assisting family and friends
to submit applications for Temporary Membership in a timely manner, well before the trip’s commencement date
(preferably at least 7 days).
