MINUTES
General Meeting at Glen Waverley Bowls Club
Opened by President Neil Phillips: 7:35pm
Welcomed members, new and old and visitors, then explained the meeting format.
Talks:
Neil gave an outline of the meeting and update
DTU trainers were introduced to new members and visitors.
Some members have been impacted by the fires and floods, Trip Leaders had reorganised
trips planned and the need to support communities with trips and buying supplies at those
communities.
Mention made of POTY points for members to check and how to increase their totals.
Shared facility with LROC explored, but not going ahead.
Neil thanked the Temporary Membership sub-committee and the Rules and Policies sub-
committee for all the work they have done.
Trip Report
Paul Harris gave a very informative address on his Northern Australian trip.
Car Boot sale advertised at back of room.
Shop: Paul reported on all the items available from the shop.
“I want something to say.” Neil spoke to this stating that it goes both ways – members asking
questions and committee relaying back.

It was agreed that these be accepted as correct.

Digital Transformation 2020:
Neil gave a brief report stating that Member Jungle was found not to be perfect. Wild Apricot
is now being looked at. David Boutchard and Virginia Gilhooly were recognised for all the
support work they have done.
Strategy Weekend:
Great discussion groups, went very well. All areas covered and discussed
