TRIP AND SOCIAL
It that time of year again when we are all thinking about travelling bush.
There were a few trips over the Christmas break. Unfortunately, some of these trips had to be
changed or cancelled due to the bush fires. The 14 th Original Australia Day High Country went ahead
but at a different location. Thanks to our trip leaders Tony Jambu, Dave Howard and Peter Van Riel.
Stuart Gay organised a bush fire recovery in conjunction with Blaze Aid and by all accounts the trip
went well.
Speaking about the fire relief effort, if you are thinking of helping by running a trip please speak to
Jacob Cooke as he is the Club co-ordinator and has various contacts with other groups that are
working in conjunction with Blaze Aid.
Unfortunately, the Mitsubishi Motors Pajero Challenge 2020 has been cancelled due to unprecedent
risks. Thanks to Simon and Liz Garraway and their team for all the hard work that they put into the
event.
Last but not least, just a reminder that we are still taking bookings for the Easter Muster 9 th April – 12
April 2020. This event is being held at Mansfield Showgrounds.
