Through the combined analysis , we quantified the benefits provided by existing trees in disadvantaged neighborhoods and compared them with more affluent areas . The results underscore significant disparities in tree canopy cover and associated benefits between these areas . Additionally , by mapping key census blocks , we can effectively prioritize future tree planting efforts to address environmental justice concerns and promote equitable distribution of tree benefits throughout the community .
