Margel Overton came to EducationWorks HiStep Roxborough to talk to the music production group about how to make it in the music industry. Shamira stated that they got the opportunity to learn about different music genres, and talked about their different personalitiess and appearances. They also talked about how it’s a group of people who know they position and when the rap/ or song, they rap/ or song they position. For example Kendrick Lamar he notices himself as a king so he let it be known when he raps.
He may directly state it or indirectly stated, either way he lets it be known and an upcoming rapper wouldn’t be like the king nor the middle man but only a new comer. They rap about their personals like again Kendrick Lamar he’s from the west coast so therefore that’s how he raps, like he’s from the west coast and Tyler, the creator his music style is weird but unique but it applies to young people and their needs for express and different.
