Quanda is a 15 year old in 10th grade attending Roxborough High School. She is being honored scholastically. She is on honor and scholar representing Roxborough High School and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the Congress of Future Medical Leader. The event will be held from February 14th -16th, 2014 in Washington, DC. She is looking forward to watching the surgery the most while there.
Quanda is currently studying Biology in high school. She’s never disected anything, but doesn’t thing she will have any problem doing it in the future. She has been working hard in high school hoping that her education will prepare her to become a Pediatric Surgeon. Quanda decided that she wanted to be a Pediatric Surgeon when she watched injured children on television wanting to help them.
