Her second choice is the Art Institute of Philadelphia. It’s also close to home and they also have both of the majors she is interested in. They also have video game design which is another career path she is interested in.
“I like fighting games, the Sims, adventure games. I want to learn how to play war games and sport games. Oh, and I also want to play scary games. I want to create adventure games like Grand Theft Auto or something like that.”
The Japanese inspire her designs through anime. “I love all anime except ones involving space and cowboys. I also hate Bleach, it makes me think of cleaning and laundry.”
Everything in Sabria’s style is an Americanized Japanese influence. The clothing can be mixed and matched so that even people wearing the collections she hopes to design in the future are still wearing individualized outfits.
“I just want people to know that you don’t have to just follow one trend. My clothes will be in an average store and will be affordable.”
“My favorite piece of clothing is my pjs. They are snuggie and I take pictures to show my friends. I also like wearing the graphic t-shirts that describe me.”
