In this world of crazy things that keep happening, there are even crazier things to top it.
Let’s talk about something even worse. There has always been a case of bullying in every school. It’s not right and should be stopped, but these cases are just too much. Last month an 8 year-old girl got bullied for dressing like a boy. Not to mention a 9 year-old boy got bullied for bringing a My Little Pony backpack to school. And then was chastised about it and told to leave it home because it was a trigger for bullying! What! Seriously?
First of all, kids are kids. Let them be who they are, instead of what you want them to be. Respect what they like and leave it at that. Secondly, “a trigger for bullying?” no. Schools are supposed to stop the bullying. They are supposed to find a way to stop it, even if it involves the parents because kids should not be bullying other kids. Telling kids “You can be and do whatever you want” and then taking it back is just wrong.
