As Hong Kong reinforces its position as the Trade Fair Capital of Asia, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre( HKCEC) serves as a vital engine connecting economies, industries and cultures.
Strategically located in the heart of the city, the HKCEC powers growth for businesses across the Chinese Mainland, Asia, and around the globe. Hong Kongʼs unique role as a“ super-connectorˮ and“ super value-adderˮ is reflected in the sheer international diversity of events hosted at the HKCEC. Aligning with Hong Kongʼs strategic development priorities, key sectors— including medical sciences, financial services, innovation and technology, and education— accounted for 43 % * of all conventions and exhibitions hosted in 2026.
The business momentum at the HKCEC continues to go from strength to strength, underscoring its standing as Asiaʼs premier venue for world-class events. During the financial year from July 2025 to June 2026, the HKCEC hosted 786 events— ranging from large-scale exhibitions and international conferences to corporate meetings, banquets, and entertainment events— welcoming over 7.7 million attendance. Notably, several long-standing flagship trade shows are celebrating major milestone anniversaries, including the HKTDC Education & Careers Expo and the HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair, marking their 35 th and 45 th anniversaries respectively, introducing fresh, trend-forward features aligned with evolving global market demands.
