Upcoming events like the inaugural MWC Doha 2025 – marking the Mobile World Congress’ s Middle East debut – and the Domestic Robots Export Expo demonstrate this focus. These buttress the DECC’ s event credentials further, on top of its successful hosting of prominent gatherings in technology, healthcare, real estate and education. Web Summit Qatar( 20,000 attendees), World Summit AI, Cityscape and Qatar Medicare are just a few examples of events that have chosen DECC for its flexibility and premium offering. Beyond these highlights, exhibitions such as the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition and the Qatar International Facility Management Conference continue to expand DECC’ s sectoral reach and demonstrate its capacity to adapt to varied organiser needs.

How are you reimagining sustainability in this space, and what concrete steps is DECC taking to deliver world-class experiences while significantly minimising environmental impact? and reduce our carbon footprint. The newly launched DECC Park enhances visitors experience while acting as a carbon sink and improving air quality. We’ re committed to‘ zero waste to landfill’ through extensive recycling and composting, including successful composting at the Web Summit.
We’ ve cut freshwater use by 50 % through TSE and rainwater harvesting, and we prioritise sustainable materials and advanced thermal insulation in all constructions. These efforts reflect our commitment to delivering world-class events with minimal environmental impact.
EW – How does DECC prioritise the human element in its operations and design philosophy to ensure it remains a vibrant, people-centered venue?
