As part of Florida Power & Light Company’s (FPL) Nonprofit Energy Makeover program, a team of energy experts and volunteers presented a $9,000 donation toward a new energy-efficient air conditioner to Flagler Humane Society (FHS) in Palm Coast, FL. FPL also conducted a thorough evaluation of the facility to find additional ways the organization can save on its energy bills. FHS plans to reinvest these savings back to funding its mission to find forever homes for animals. Photo credit: Ryan Jones for FPL. Local contractors from All Comfort Heating and Air install a new, more energy-efficient air-conditioning unit at FHS as part of the FPL Nonprofit Energy Makeover program. LTG employees, and their family members, helped clean up the coast during International Coastal Cleanup day for the second year in a row. Locally, the event is facilitated by the County with help from Volusia County Association for Responsible Development (VCARD). Employees and family members from James Moore Certified Public Accountants and Consultants took part in the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Day of Service, volunteering at Food Brings Hope’s HOPE House in Daytona. Employees also hosted a school supply drive to benefit low-income students in the area.
