Affordable housing is an issue facing local communities across the nation and Florida is no exception. At a recent meeting of the St. Johns County Commission, Bill Lazar, director of the St. Johns Housing Partnership and chairman of the county’ s Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, presented the committee’ s annual report.“ It is something we do once a year,” Lazar said, adding the report contains several potential incentives and policies to be considered.
“ We keep bringing them up hoping some of them will resonate more than others,” he said.
