HOW SWEET IT IS: THE BUSINESS OF
LOVE
FROM ARTIST TO ENTREPRENEUR
WHAT IS GEOFENCING?
Corrine Heck built Details Flowers Software to solve her own floral business challenges. She didn ' t stop there.
In 2022, Details was mid-transformation: a nine-person team
The Details Flowers Team entering the U. K. market, navigating post-pandemic complexity, and fostering local talent through a partnership with Stetson University ' s Centurion Sales Program. Today, the platform serves floral professionals across the U. S., U. K., Canada and expanding international markets with a team of 16.
Two things, Heck said, have mattered most. " Staying rooted in the floral community is essential. My experience as a florist guides every feature we build." The second is culture. In 2025, Details was named a Top 100 Business and Culture Champion by the U. S. Chamber of Commerce. " A company is only as strong as its people," she said. " When strong systems handle the mechanics, creativity truly flourishes."
Looking ahead, Heck is integrating AI-powered insights and streamlining the supply chain
from farm to final delivery. Her goal is straightforward: " To bridge the gap between artistry and analytics and help build a future of stronger businesses and more vibrant communities."

President & CEO Synergy Billing
Featured Summer 2022
When EVOLVE first featured Synergy Billing, Jayson Meyer was building a precision operation: standardizing processes, establishing accountability and delivering consistent revenue cycle results for community health providers. Operational excellence was the competitive advantage. That foundation held, but the landscape shifted. " Much of what defined best practice in 2019 is obsolete— not because it was wrong, but because the world changed," said Meyer. AI and technological advances have created new leverage: predictive receivables forecasting, smarter capital solutions, and the ability to serve more clients while processing nearly twice as many claims.
Through the transformation, Meyer ' s priority has remained constant: people. " We ' ve been transparent about technology— what it is, what it isn ' t and how it benefits the team," he said. " To reduce fear and build confidence that AI is here to elevate our people, not replace them." The next chapter is broader in ambition: taking Synergy ' s methodology beyond its own operation to help level the playing field in healthcare and insurance billing. The goal is simple: " Fewer preventable denials, faster cash flow, and more resources staying where they belong— supporting patient care."
